Pine Point

We took advantage of the great weather on Saturday to take a day trip to the coast. We headed to Pine Point for a day at the beach. First, of course, we stopped to have lunch at the Clam Bake. Avery loved everything about the beach. The tide was going out, so we went for a walk on the sandbar and searched for sand dollars. We didn't find any, but we found lots of tiny crabs hiding out in shells.

Nice photos... You had a perfect day to go to the beach :) I especially love the photo with A and J building sand castles!

:) That was where we always use to go every summer...when the relatives were 'normal'. I'm so glad you made it to the Clambake too...it's part of a family tradition.

I remmember all the times we went down there....(of course my sister lived at Pine Point and the family owned the Clambake) and the times that we looked for shells, etc. I remember once finding a dollar bill that washed ashore. Glad that you went there...that sandy beach is 3 miles long!

I went there the day dad died. I took Isabelle and we wrote his name in the sand and watched the ocean wash it away....it was cleansing..and healing..but I will always remember my time there with him.....

Thank you for the pictures...
