This weekend we fixed the stairs that we built last fall, stripped and stained both the stairs and landing and added railings. We reused the balusters that used to be along the front of the landing. Now it just needs some paint and some trim boards along the side of the landing and it's finished. What do you think? Remember those rickety skinny steps that were there when we bought the place? Nice!!! Definitely more beautiful, and certainly safer than what was there before... you must be SO pleased with how things are coming together! A lot of work, but you've both done a really great job!

PS: Have I mentioned that we're planning on driving down to Toronto late Sept/early Oct (for IDEX) and are toying with the idea of continuing on to Boston. If so, perhaps we could plan our route through Bangor?
