The Hunt

The bad news is that I won't be deer hunting any more this year. The good news is that it's because I took a 136-lb doe on Saturday. With the invaluable assistance and guidance of my Mom, it's already been processed and put in the freezer. -jgr

Congratulations. It is a bummer sometimes to get your deer on the first day of hunting. Glad to help you out!

Congrats to you :) It's nice to have your winters meat put away early in the season, even if you don't get to continue hunting... Have you considered bow hunting or black powder? It would extend your season, but do you get to tag another deer?

Um... and the assistance of my lovely wife whom wanted nothing to do with the processing part... and yet made hamburg and wrapped all afternoon!

Jen is ALWAYS very impressive... I think she learned some of it from her mom, hahaha... Ahd the rest she's developed with her own wonderful talent :)
